Jennifer Waits, the super knowledgeable college radio historian who appears in the film, has arranged the Bay Area debut of 35000 Watts. Gear up for KFJC’s upcoming 65th anniversary by joining us for a special film screening in celebration of college radio’s storied history. KFJC is pleased to be presenting the San Francisco Bay Area debut of the new documentary 35000 Watts: The Story of College Radio. KFJC is mentioned in the film and the station’s own Jennifer Waits provides commentary about college radio history throughout. She will also be on-hand for a Q&A after the movie, alongside other special guests. The event is a benefit for KFJC, with a suggested donation of $10 at the door.
